BATMAN VS WOLVERINE
Since I was a little boy, I’ve been a devoted fan of Wolverine. My older brother introduced me to the comics, and I spent countless hours reading and collecting them. Batman quickly became another favorite of mine. The animated Batman shows were a staple on TV, and I watched every single episode.
There is a stark contrast between these heroes. Wolverine will do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares about and complete his mission. In contrast, Batman adheres to a strict moral code that prevents him from crossing certain lines. It’s hard to say which approach is better, but it certainly makes for two uniquely compelling heroes.
WSU COLLABORATIVE PROJECT
RIPPLE EFFECT
We collaborated with the Geography department to design an exhibit focused on water conservation, showcased at Weber State University’s Bridge Gallery. The exhibit features an outer ring with a six-foot diameter, and each ring is independently suspended. The inner drop is crafted in a cross shape (+), creating dynamic movement among the rings as viewers rotate the drop to read the information.
The inner drop contains information about water usage and conservation strategies for Utah, Weber County, and Weber State University. The first inner ring highlights water usage issues in the United States, followed by solutions and suggestions for the nation on the next ring. The first outer ring addresses global water usage issues, while the outermost ring presents solutions for global water concerns. The entire piece was displayed hanging 18 inches above the floor.
